Alliance Committed to Connecting People, Data and Diverse Systems

Santa Clara, Calif., November 14, 2006 - NEC Corporation of America, a premier provider of IT, network and telephony solutions, today announced it has joined Microsoft^® Corporation's Interop Vendor Alliance, a community of partners working together to enhance interoperability with Microsoft systems. With increasing demands for products that support business objectives and lower total cost of ownership, IT managers need solutions to seamlessly enhance connectivity between heterogeneous systems. Interoperability is an excellent means of helping to meet these critical goals, and entering this alliance continues NEC's commitment of delivering this essential foundation to its customers and partners.
