Virtual organizations, or V-Orgs, occur when a number of users
from across many organizations need to collaborate for a common
purpose. As technology becomes an integral part of doing
business, it has become the key to sharing information and services
between organizations. V-Orgs need to share sensitive
information and provide verified members with access to protected
content and services at different security levels across
organizations.
This lab explores a scenario that shows how two companies, who
have agreed to complete a shared project, can seamlessly manage
user access through a Virtual Organization or V-Org using CA
SiteMinder with Federated Services, Microsoft Active Directory
Federation Services and SharePoint.
